From a young age, dance, gymnastics and aerobics became a part of Brooke’s life and at 16 she made her first world championships in Sport Aerobics. This led to successfully competing for Australia for 10 years – training and competing at this level exposed her to experiencing multiple injuries which led Brooke to discovering the value of both Pilates and Yoga in looking after the body.
In 2003 she completed her first Pilates teacher training course, closely followed by Yoga teacher training in 2004. Keen to develop a deeper understanding of movement and the body Brooke completed a degree in Sports Science and a Masters in Exercise Rehabilitation before working as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
Brooke has been teaching Clinical Pilates and Yoga for over 10 years in a clinical and commercial setting both in allied health practices and international gym businesses, and believes that Yoga and Pilates can heal and strengthen the body – from chronic injuries, everyday people and through to elite level athletes.
